This week, we received a question from a reader that was as follows:
“I’m eating clean and doing butt exercises on occasion, but my butt is still small and flat. I don’t love my bubbles. How often should I be doing butt exercises to get a bigger, rounder booty?”
If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times on this blog. If you want to get a bigger butt fast, one of the 3 things you need to do is exercise (in addition to eating right and taking an all-natural butt enhancement supplement). Your butt is made up largely of muscles, and doing targeted exercises can help grow those muscle to make your butt look larger.
But it’s not just doing the major butt exercises—like squats, lunges, cycling, hill sprints, etc.—that’s important. It’s how you go about doing them to build muscle. If you just haphazardly throw butt exercises into your gym routine without proper planning, you won’t get the level of results you’re hoping for. It’s like trying to find your way on a road trip without a map or a GPS. You’re going to be aimlessly driving around and wasting a lot of time.
Let’s take a closer look at what you need to do to create a truly effective butt exercise regimen.
In each butt exercise session, you should do at least 3 glute exercises designed to build strength. In the past, we’ve talked about the importance of lifting heavy to gain muscle. Some of the key exercises for building butt muscles include lunges, squats, and step-ups. While you can do all of these exercises using bodyweight, if you really want to pack on the muscle, add weight using dumbbells, barbells, or kettlebells as needed.
Now, onto the main question: “I don’t love my bubbles. How often should I be doing butt exercises to get a bigger, rounder booty?”
Okay, so every time that you do targeted butt exercises at the right intensity, those muscles are broken down and damaged. Once the muscle heals, it comes back at a slightly bigger size. Over time, muscles keep tearing down and rebuilding, and they get bigger and bigger, helping fill out your booty so you can get the curvy, sexy figure you want. This is how bubble butts are formed.
However, here’s the catch – your butt muscles need time to heal so they can grow properly. If you’re doing butt exercises every single day, those muscles won’t get to keep rebuilding and growing, so by working harder, and not smarter, you’re actually impeding your process.
The trick is to work out as often as possible while still giving those butt muscles enough time to heal. That’s why we recommend doing butt exercises 3 days each week on nonconsecutive days. Give those butt muscles at least 1 day of rest before targeting them again. So, you could do butt exercises Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, or Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It’s all about finding a schedule you can stick to, because consistency is essential to the success of any workout program.
In addition to eating clean and doing butt exercises, you can really enhance your results with the help of supplementation. Butt enhancement supplements, like Gluteboost, contain all-natural ingredients that can help you rebuild muscle after tough workouts. In addition, Gluteboost helps transfer fat from unwanted places, like your belly, to your buttocks to help fill it out and make it nice and round.
